Apple
Menu Options Control Panel controls the option of having submenus
in your Apple Menu. A feature which is very useful but is limited to 5 levels
deep.
You also have the option to turn on recently used items which can be very useful also if you open and close documents often. Have you ever accidentally closed a file which was buried in your hard drive? With Recent Documents you have a quick way to reopen them without having to go find them again deep in your hard drive. You can also use the recently used applications as a launcher. Few of us use more than 15 or 20 applications on a regular basis so by using the recent applications menu you can open any of the applications you have used recently with just a couple of clicks. Unforunately there is no option to sort them other than alphabetically.
